Home Care Agency Engages WSI For Search Engine Optimization Program

Newton, MA-based home care agency, Visiting Angels Newton/Canton, has retained WSI for a local SEO program to generate leads online for home care services for the elderly and disabled adults.

The company provides senior care, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, respite care, companion care, transitional care and other home care services. These non-medical services are provided on an hourly or daily ”live-in” basis including personal care, mobility assistance, errands & transportation, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship. This private duty care is provided by home care aides who are selected for each client based on their character, experience, technical ability, and other traits.

First, we performed comprehensive keyword research and selected specific keywords that were then mapped to the relevant pages of the website. Then, employing advanced on-page optimization techniques, new web copies were written for those pages, which were optimized for the selected keywords. We also improved the conversion architecture of the website by changing layouts and adding a Hipaa-compliant contact form on every page. In addition, an on-site blog was also implemented which would include articles about senior home care services, dementia care, homecare aides, home care costs and more. These blog articles contain long tail keywords that would help to bring traffic to the website.

With the on-page optimization complete, the local SEO program will now focus on improving the popularity of the new optimized pages. It will include registering the website in local business directories, posting on its Google My Business, Google+, Facebook and Linkedin pages, and increasing positive customer reviews. In addition, monthly blog posts will be written and syndicated to blogs established on the popular blogging platforms WordPress, Blogger, Medium and Weebly.

While the homecare agency has received and published many customer testimonials over the years, it has not received any reviews on Google. Part of this digital marketing solution would be focused on generating reviews on Google as well as other relevant websites such as senioradvisors.com, Care.com and caring.com for the company.

WSI will monitor the local SEO campaign results using Google Analytics and the Search Console. Each month WSI will produce a report that includes key metrics such as organic traffic, organic rankings, organic links, conversion and conversion rates. We expect to achieve significantly increased lead generation rates from this SEO program.
